Glumi counts net carbs; insulin decisions are part of your treatment plan. Glumi does not replace advice from your care team.
Glumi was born from a very real need. When my 3-year-old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, every meal became a calculation: at home, but also at daycare, where the staff had to count the carbs in dishes they hadn't cooked themselves.
I'm an occupational therapist. Adapting everyday tools is at the heart of my profession. So I built the tool we needed: a calculator that starts from the label or Health Canada values, never makes up a number, and that anyone can use, even the first time.
Glumi is made by a family, for families and for everyone who cares for our children.
